TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SALE, DELIVERY, AND PAYMENT
I. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of rubber conveyor belts, hereinafter referred to as "Products," by ARTEGO, hereinafter referred to as the "Seller," to the buyer, hereinafter referred to as the "Buyer."
1. All offers are subject to the following conditions and are considered accepted throughout the duration of the collaboration by placing an order or accepting delivery.
2. These conditions apply exclusively to relationships with ARTEGO’s commercial partners.
3. By placing an Order, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and fully accept these Terms and Conditions.
II. OFFER CONDITIONS, ORDERS, PRICES, AND PAYMENT
1. Any price offer for an ARTEGO product or service is valid for 14 days from the date of transmission, unless a different term has been agreed upon in writing.
2. Prices for Products are expressed in EURO and are subject to change without prior notice. The final price will be confirmed at the time of order acceptance.
3. All orders must be submitted in writing and are subject to acceptance by the Seller.
4. The Seller reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason, including but not limited to, unavailability of Products or pricing errors.
5. Payment terms are mutually agreed upon and included in the order confirmation. Late payments may incur interest of 0.2% for each day of delay.
III. DELIVERY
1. Delivery dates are estimated and not guaranteed. The Seller will not be responsible for delays in delivery.
2. The risk of loss or damage to the Products transfers according to the agreed INCOTERMS delivery condition.
3. The Buyer is responsible for inspecting the Products upon delivery and for reporting any damages or discrepancies within 10 days of receipt.
IV. USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
• Ensure that the belt is installed according to technical specifications.
• Check the correct alignment and tensioning of the belt.
• Avoid overloading the belt.
• Constantly monitor the condition of the belt and the transport equipment.
• Monitor the operating temperature at which the belt operates.
• Periodically clean the belt to prevent the accumulation of residues.
• Inspect the belts for any signs of wear or damage.
IV.1. WARRANTY FOR DELIVERED BELTS
The warranty for delivered belts is established based on the following categories:

IV.2. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
Conveyor belts are components that wear out, and their lifespan may be affected by external factors such as the type and quality of the conveyor, installation, maintenance, material loading, and operating conditions.
1. The Seller guarantees that the delivered belts are free from construction defects for a period equal to the values included in the table above.
2. The warranty does not cover financial losses or subsequent damages, including normal wear and tear, damages caused by external conditions, lack of proper maintenance, improper use, or incorrect installation.
3. The Seller will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits or business interruptions.
4. The Supplier will not be responsible for rental or replacement costs of equipment, delay costs, or other incidental or indirect losses.
5. The Products comply with the quality standards agreed upon with the customer. The customer must perform periodic maintenance according to established plans. Claims will not be accepted if these instructions are not followed.
6. Claims will not be accepted if defects/damages are caused by improper handling, abnormal or unforeseen chemical and physical conditions.
7. The warranty is void if the operating temperature of the heat-resistant belts has not been monitored and there is no proof of compliance with the temperature requirements set by the process
8. In the case of oil and grease resistant belts, the warranty does not cover defects caused by the deterioration of the chemical composition of the belts due to the materials transported.
9. Temperature resistant belts must be equipped with thermometers, and temperature charts must be regularly prepared and sent to the supplier along with any claims. The warranty does not apply if the belts have been exposed to temperatures exceeding the specified limits.
The warranty is granted according to the principle of "Pro Rata Temporis," which means that:
• In the case of a justified claim, we may choose to repair the belt free of charge or deliver a new belt at cost, deducting the corresponding value for the remaining operating time.
• Resolving the claim will not extend the warranty period for the original belt.
V. OBLIGATIONS OF THE BUYER
The client must notify the supplier within 2 days of discovering the defect.
The client must promptly remedy any minor damages that occur on the belt due to mechanical influences to prevent further larger damages.
VI. STORAGE AND USAGE CONDITIONS
In the case of prolonged storage, relevant standards (ISO 5285:2008) regarding the storage and preservation of conveyor belts must be followed.
Conveyor belts must be stored in a dry environment, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources. The storage temperature must be between 10°C and 30°C.
It is recommended to use the belts within 12 months from the date of purchase to ensure their quality and performance.
